In a future period called the "Maelstrom", nuclear war and disease have plagued and destroyed the world, including the United States. To prevent new horrors, the world was divided into several smaller states. Each state is defined as an ethical, solidarity and futuristic society which is controlled by "admedistration", facilities where nanotechnology is used for medical purposes, to allow better living. But in Japan, the young Tuan Kirie and her friends Miach Mihie and Cian Reikado start a protest against this kind of company and control over their lives, refusing food and medication and get up to suicide but Tuan and Cian fail to protest. Thirteen years later, Tuan works for the World Health Organization in international medical police forces, still faithful to her ideas: the meeting after years with Cian gives the start to an investigation in which discover the truths and threats behind the "perfect" world.

Cosplay Parade
May 21, 2017
12-3pm
Pennsylvania Ave between 3rd and 6th St NW
Washington, DC
Nearest Subway Station: Archive (Green-Yellow Line)

THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT! We will meet at the Archives subway station at 12pm, at the top of the escalators. Please invite your friends, and keep your cosplay family-friendly.

Sadly, we do not have a place for cosplayers to change, so you will have to arrive in costume. We suggest attending in groups, if you are uncomfortable with that.

THE PARADE ITSELF IS FROM 2:00pm-3:00pm. We will have time to enjoy Fiesta Asia until it is time to march. Please be on time, as you will not be able to jump into the parade at the last minute. Bring money for food, as there will be plenty of food venders at Fiesta Asia.

NO PHOTOS WILL BE TAKEN DURING THE PARADE. However, video will be taken by DC Anime Club Vice President Craig Vaughn. We will have a photo shoot after the parade (from 3PM-4PM). If you wish to leave right after the Cosplay Parade, you may do so.

More Details to come. Additional info about Fiesta Asia can be found here:
